Apprentice Intake - Marine Fitters The Apprenticeship Community

We are currently seeking Marine Fitter Apprentices to join the Austal team in Henderson.
The trade offered is a Certificate III Engineering Mechanical Trade (Marine) and involves work on all aspect from installation of main equipment, fabricating and pipe work through to testing and commissioning.
This trade is a 48 month apprenticeship.

To be considered suitable for this role you must have:
- Year 10 or higher in English, Maths, Metalwork and/or woodwork
- Previous work experience and interested in the selected area
- Capable of performing manual / physical work
- Pre-apprenticeship in the selected trade is desirable
- Own reliable transport is desirable
- Full and current Australian working rights
These roles are looking to commence in September 2017.
Candidates selected to progress to the next stage must be willing to complete two (2) weeks of unpaid work experience as a trial for the available roles.
